MSDS/WHMIS Safety Sheets

What they are:

WHMIS stands for the Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System. It is a federal and provincial program that ensures workers get accurate health and safety information about the products they use. The program regulates bottle labelling, MSDS and worker education programs.

The MSDS is the Material Safety Data Sheet that outlines everything workers need to know to safely handle the materials they use every day. It explains the potential hazards of a product, methods of protection and cleanup and
emergency procedures in the event of an emergency.
Workplace materials cover everything from paint to ice melter to cleaning chemicals. We have all the necessary MSDS for the products we carry.

How to find a product safety sheet:
Certain products contain safety sheets. You can find out if a product contains a safety sheet by either doing a product search or by scrolling through the product list drop down menu.

Products that contain MSDS sheets will be noted under the product with a PDF icon.
